AIA at the 48th International Paris Air Show

The Aerospace Industries Association is once again leading the U.S. aerospace and defense presence at the 48th International Paris Air Show, one of the premier industry events in the world. More than 500 exhibiting companies from 37 countries – including many AIA members – will converge at Le Bourget when the show opens its doors from June 15-19, 2009.
AIA will play a principal role in the assortment of meetings, exhibits, receptions and networking opportunities that highlight the Paris Air Show. Attendees at the annual AIA dinner preceding the air show will include distinguished guests from both the U.S. government and the aerospace industries. AIA is also planning to host the U.S. Industry Reception, the largest U.S. event during the air show, at the residence of the Ambassador. The Society of Japanese Aerospace Companies and AIA will again arrange an annual networking event for member aerospace companies and government dignitaries from both the U.S. and Japan. AIA's Supplier Management Council will be organizing various events for member suppliers during the week-long event.
AIA coordinates the participation for the U.S. Department of Defense aircrews and an aircraft corral showcasing a range of military equipment.
